I look forward to hearing y’all’s opinions about each series and hopefully I can garner some understanding about the dislike of the RoW “finale”. It feels like the SaB trilogy is very much a YA series while the other two duologies ride just on the edge of YA. The wolves are circling and a young king will face his greatest challenge in the explosive finale of the instant 1 New York Timesbestselling King of Scars Duology.

I loved each series because they were all somewhat different from each other the SaB triology focused mainly on saints, power, and salvation, the SoC duology focused on the great heist, the chaos of ketterdam, and the determination of thieves, while the KoS duology brought the grishaverse books back around for some more magic, more saints, and more saving of Ravka. What are y’all’s thoughts about the differences between the three series? I personally think the Six of Crows duology was a much needed buffer between the Shadow and Bone trilogy and the KoS duology, but it’s definitely the highlight of the grishaverse for many people. The power and politics was very interesting and the hope for a hopeless nation was a fantastic read. I’ve read all the grishaverse books from beginning to end in order and I feel like I’m missing something? Every post seems to dislike KoS and RoW but I absolutely loved them.
